Had a wonderful Xmas break at a cozy lodge with a private garden. the location was perfect, close to great walks and amenities, and right by the tranquil lakeside. the lodge was well-equipped and had festive decorations, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The mattress was a bit uncomfortable for my bad back, and the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable. Some bathroom fixings were loose and need repairing.

We got great value for our money at Lakeside Lodge. The cottage was superb, providing everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location was fantastic, with beautiful walks nearby and easy access to Keswick. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure we had a pleasant stay.
The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from some improvements, particularly in terms of variety and options.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The lodge was very clean and comfortable, providing all the necessary essentials for a relaxing holiday break. The location was perfect, with the peaceful and quiet surroundings allowing us to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hotel staff, especially Karen and Tim, were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They made sure all our needs were met and even provided us with festive decorations for the Christmas period. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to Bassenthwaite Lake allowed us to enjoy scenic walks and the convenience of a bus stop nearby saved us parking fees when we wanted to explore Keswick.
All was perfect.

The main bedroom at Lakeside Lodge was amazing! The bed was huge and could be turned into twin beds, which was perfect for me as a guest with physical handicaps. It was so comfortable and made me feel right at home.
Personally, I found the carpeted staircase a bit challenging to navigate with my physical handicaps. However, I understand that others might still enjoy the unique charm it adds to the room.

The decoration of the lodge was absolutely charming, with cozy furnishings and a warm color scheme that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I especially appreciated the easy access to the beautiful lake, allowing me to enjoy peaceful walks and take in the stunning views of nature.
I would have loved to have a bit more information about local attractions and activities geared towards senior guests. It would have been helpful to have some guidance from the children working there on nearby places that would be suitable for me to visit and explore.
